Optocoupler/LED/nixie tube/photoelectric device
The MOC306XM and MOC316XM devices consist of a GaAs infrared light-emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector, performing the function of a zero voltage crossing double-sided triple driver. These devices are suitable for triacs in logic system interfaces from 115/240V AC line powered equipment such as solid state relays, industrial controls, motors, solenoid valves, and consumer equipment.

These optocouplers consist of an AlGaAS LED optically coupled to a very high-speed integrated photodetector logic gate. These devices include a tunable output. This output has an open collector, thus allowing a wired OR output. Coupling parameters are guaranteed from -40°C to +85°C. Input signals up to 5 mA provide a minimum output sink of 13 mA (fan-out 8). Internal noise shielding provides excellent common-mode rejection, typically 50 kV/µs at 1,000V common-mode.
